Everything is Formative!
How can we shift the focus of student feedback from scores to learning? In this engaging webinar, discover a powerful strategy that encourages students to self-assess their own work before receiving teacher feedback. This approach, designed primarily for writing but applicable to other types of assessments, helps students create individualized plans for improvement, reinforcing the idea that everything is formative—even assignments typically considered summative.
Attendees will learn how to implement this feedback process in their own classrooms, fostering student ownership and growth. By reframing assessment as a tool for learning rather than judgment, educators can help students develop essential reflection and revision skills that lead to long-term academic success.
Whether you're looking to refine your feedback methods or rethink how students engage with their assessments, this session will provide practical strategies to make formative assessment a natural part of your classroom culture.
